This is the front hall as you see it when you come in the door, with the dining room beyond and the living room around to the right. When we bought the house, all of the oak woodwork in the hallway and dining room was painted white. In the early nineties we had it removed from the house, dipped in paint remover, refinished, and put back up. It was a big job, but we’re very pleased with the results.
Through the door in the center of the picture is the back hallway which is entered from the side door. It leads to a large closet with sliding doors and a back stairway to the second floor. Beyond that hallway is the entrance to the kitchen.
