This wonderful playroom is the reason we bought the house.  It was added by the previous owners to the back of the house, two steps down from the kitchen.  I discovered that the two steps are very important for keeping kiddie cars and other child messes out of the kitchen.  But it was a great place for my small kids to play while I was in the kitchen.  We felt as if we were together, and everyone was happy.  As the kids grew, the room evolved -- it held a ping pong table pretty well.  And now it has my reclining chair where I spend a lot of time.  There’s a narrow deck outside the sliding doors.
